These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the Client or Agent, and us, ‘’. By booking a’s photography workshop, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They outline, amongst other things, our cancellation policy, and certain limitations of liability. These terms affect your rights, governing law, and jurisdiction; please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand your rights an obligations and our rights and obligations.

All prices quoted to the Client/Agent are on a net basis and priced in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and valid according to the date specified on the printed quotation and/or invoice issued to the Client/Agent. guarantees that the prices or rates quoted to the Client/Agent are correct at the time of issuance of the Client’s/Agent’s quotation and/or invoice but are subject to change in accordance with market, GST, Country of origins Tax or exchange rate fluctuation, with or without prior notice.


Reservations can be made to via website or email. Upon confirmation of a reservation:

– half day photographic workshop -payment in full at the time of booking – no refund
– full day photographic workshop – payment in full at the time of booking – no refund
– a 50 % (fifty percent) deposit is required to secure your reservation for Interstate and International photographic workshops.
– the final payment for the total photography workshop or the services (50%: fifty) must be full received by at least 45 days before the starting date of the workshop. We accept final payment (50% remaining) on arrival in some cases for International participants, please contact us for further details.

If the final payment is not received by the due date, the Client’s/Agent’s reservation will be cancelled, and the Clients/Agents will have to pay the cancellation charges. also reserves the right to correct any arrangement (including photographic workshops, programs, prices, and services) in the best interest of its Client/Agent, with or without prior notice. will then send you written confirmation and a receipt.


– Cash in any currency that can be converted to Australian dollars, exchange rate willbe referred to at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia at the time of payment.

– Credit card (Master, Visa, American express) is accepted with an additional charge 2.5% of the total payment for processing

Full refunds of all monies paid will be made if a workshop is cancelled by us, or if the workshop is re-scheduled by us and you are unable to attend on the new date.

Cancellation by participants must be made in writing to the trading address: Unit 16/58 Dora Street, Hurstville, NSW, 2220. If you cancel your paid booking prior to forty-five (45) days of the workshop date, the workshop fee will be refunded less 25% of the fee.

All refunds to the client will be processed within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation. The service charge of the refund is AUD 50.00 per occasion.

Deposits paid to secure bookings at workshops are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by us.

Refunds for half day or single day photographic workshops once booked are non-refundable.

Bitesizepics is not responsible for any other costs which workshop participants may have incurred including but not limited to travel, car rental, insurance, photographic purchases and/or rentals.


Your position on each workshop will be guaranteed immediately upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the workshop (inclusive of GST) as indicated for each workshop. The balance will be due 45 days before the start of the workshop date.

Workshop registration or booking fees must be paid in full by the invoice due date to confirm your place in the workshop. Once payment has been received, you will be sent email confirmation of receipt of your payment.


If you have booked and paid for a workshop and are unable to attend on the workshop date, and if another similar workshop is offered at the time of transfer, you can choose to transfer your booking to the next workshop. If the subsequent workshop is cancelled by Bitesizepics, you will receive a refund less the service charge of the refund at AUD 50.00.

Please note that bookings cannot be transferred within fourteen (14) days of the workshop date.


All workshop schedules and plans are subject to change at our discretion depending upon weather, health and safety considerations, or any other factor related or unrelated to photographic opportunities as we see fit.


Circumstances can change i.e. weather conditions, transport, political situations and even bird migration. Because of this, and local guide agents reserve the right to change any itinerary. If an itinerary must be changed by the lead guide while you are on the photographic workshop,then you must respect their professional decision.


Birdwatching is best enjoyed in a small group, and we aim to offer the best leader per group ratio around. This allows for more personal attention and better opportunities for all group members to see and enjoy the birdlife. To optimize your enjoyment and to enjoy more bird species we have restricted clients to a maximum of 6 to 10 per photographic workshop.


Bitesizepics accept no liability for death, illness or injury or loss or damage to photo equipment or personal belongings during the workshop or in transit there to.

We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. If we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will provide a full refund of the fees paid, which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement. In the event of a workshop cancellation by Bitesizepics, liability of Bitesizepics to participants shall be limited to the total value of the fees paid. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

By joining any workshops offered by Bitesizepics, participants acknowledge that they are aware of risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release Bitesizepics, guest presenters, local guides, workshop assistants from any liability. Bitesizepics, guest presenters, local guides and workshop assistants will assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.


In reserving a place on the workshop by paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions.


Acceptable methods of payment:

– Credit card (Master, Visa, American express) is accepted with an additional charge 0.85% of the total payment for processing

– Both GST and postage are included in the prices as quoted under packages

– Details of your postal address to be included on the form when making a purchase

– Please provide further details if the item is to be left with a neighbour/or outside your home address, if these details are not provided and the package goes astray, bitesizepics will not be held responsible.


Bitesizepicshave taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the photographic workshops which are published in this website have been properly arranged. We will accept liability as a direct result of negligence or breach of contractual duty in deciding for you, including omissions by our local agents. We will not accept liability for claims arising out of carriage and matters such as losses or additional expenses incurred because of transport delays, sickness, weather, strikes, war or other political crises. reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, local services fares, such as the hire of transportation and boat fares, currency fluctuations, taxes, or fuel surcharges.

All disputes, claims and litigation regarding Bitesizepics services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. Ifsuch negotiation and mutual understanding fails to resolve the issue, the disputes, claim or litigation will be finally settled by local arbitration in Australia, and handled through our Insurers. All claims must be submitted in writing within 10 days following the end of the Bitesizepics services.
